There are not many options left in the market for tiles for round pillar. People use to either paint the round pillar or either they use ceramic tiles, which they cut it and use it. The cut ceramic tiles on the round pillar doesn't look good.

The pillar tiles and tile for pillar is only available for square pillar. For round pillar, there is only one option left, and that is Glass mosaic tiles. Below, given pillar has glass mosaic tiles installed on it.

Design of The Pillar :

The design of the pillar tiles and tile for pillar is presented below in the given diagram. The pillar is round in shape and whole pillar is covered with brown color glass mosaic tiles, which is random mix design.

The brown color random mix design is mixed with three different brown tiles. Three ring design is also formed on the pillar at three part of the pillar. 

The ring is at upper part of the pillar, second is at middle part and third is at the lower part of the pillar. The ring is made with red color glass tiles. The height of the ring is about five inch in height.

Maintenance of Glass Mosaic Tiles :


  • Simple wash with detergent with a coconut brush or soft plastic brush is sufficient for cleaning of Glass mosaic either on pillar or in Swimming Pool.

  • If dust is strong enough and if it is not getting cleaned by detergent, then you can comfortably use mild bathroom acid to clean. But if you are cleaning it with Bathroom mild acid, then after cleaning, wash it again with pure water. Don't allow acid to remain on glass tiles for long.

  • Never ever use either Harpic solution or strong concentrated acid for cleaning Glass tiles.
